Your room is available from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival and until 11:00 am on the day of departure.

Our reception is staffed from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm. A late arrival after 10:00 pm is only possible by prior arrangement. Please contact reception in advance; you will then receive a code to collect your room card from the key box, along with further detailed information.

Haus Isabella offers a lockable bicycle garage, which you can reach via the underground car park ramp. Here you can store your bicycle securely during your stay, and charging facilities for e-bikes are available. Alternatively, there are also above-ground parking options where you can lock your bicycles safely.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. Our harbor is reserved exclusively for the use of our rowing boats and pedal boats.

Unfortunately, bringing your own stand-up paddleboard is not permitted. Especially close to the shore, SUPs can disturb sensitive water birds and other wildlife. To protect the animals’ habitats and breeding grounds, it was decided in consultation with BUND Friedrichshafen that SUPs may not be used from our grounds.

From April to September, our hotel guests can use our lake access. Weather and water levels permitting, our pedal boats and rowing boats are also available to you free of charge during this time. Please note that no liability is assumed for the use of the lake access and the boats.

Out of consideration for the adjacent nature reserve, stand-up paddling is not permitted anywhere on the hotel grounds. From October to March, direct access to the shore is closed off by a protective barrier in order to safeguard the winter rest of the water birds and to preserve the wildlife and the unique character of the Lake Constance shoreline – a measure developed together with BUND.

Smoking is not permitted in the hotel rooms, on the balconies, or in the restaurant and on the restaurant terrace.

This ensures a pleasant environment for all guests.

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted anywhere on the grounds of Seegut Zeppelin. We ask for your understanding, as the hotel is located within a protected landscape area.

Seegut Zeppelin has an accessible room in Haus Ferdinand. It is equipped to be wheelchair-friendly and offers the following dimensions: bed height 60 cm, bathroom door 88 cm wide, toilet height 50 cm, shower 120 x 120 cm, bathroom 240 x 240 cm.

Yes, as an overnight guest at Seegut Zeppelin you pay the guest tax of the City of Friedrichshafen. In return, you receive the Echt Bodensee Card – your guest card, which lets you use public transport within the bodo transport network free of charge, along with additional services from partners of Deutsche Bodensee Tourismus GmbH. The guest tax of the City of Friedrichshafen is as follows:

• High season, April 1 – October 31: adults €2.80/night, children and teens aged 6–18 €1.40/night
• Low season, November 1 – March 31: adults €1.70/night, children and teens aged 6–18 €0.85/night

Exempt from the guest tax are:

• Children up to 6 years of age
• Clinic and care-home patients
• School classes and youth group trips
• People with disabilities (80%) and their companion (proof required)
• Business travelers (proof required)

It is especially worth noting that the Friedrichshafen registry office performs weddings at Seegut Zeppelin – either in the bay-window room of Villa Gminder with its stunning views of the lake and mountains, or in the Buchensaal of Haus Helene with a direct view of the park and the lake, as well as its own terrace for receptions.

Yes, Friedrichshafen offers numerous attractions, such as the Zeppelin Museum, the Dornier Museum, and the School Museum. Sports enthusiasts will also find plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling, golfing, or water sports. We are happy to help you make your choice and to recommend the most beautiful spots and experiences in the area.

You can take a taxi directly, or use the bus to the Fischbach-West stop. Alternatively, you can travel to the Friedrichshafen-Fischbach train station and walk about 15 minutes from there to Seegut Zeppelin.

Yes, our underground car park has four wall boxes where you can pay by credit card or with your personal charging card (e.g. DKV).

For your arrival, paid parking spaces are available at the hotel as well as in our underground car park. You can find detailed information about the parking fees here.

The wellness area comprises a Finnish sauna, a sanarium, and a beautiful relaxation room overlooking the orchard. From the sauna area you also have direct access to the garden. Our fitness room is open around the clock. On cooler days in particular, our wellness area can be busier. Out of consideration for all guests, reserving loungers with towels is not permitted.

We are a family-friendly hotel and want to offer you and your loved ones a pleasant stay. Our Parkzimmer rooms are designed for two adults and one child up to 14 years of age. In Haus August we also offer double rooms with a connecting door. On request, we provide a baby crib for an additional charge. On the upper floor of Villa Gminder there is a playroom for the little ones, and outside there is a children’s playground. In summer, pedal boats are available, and plenty of greenery invites children to romp around all year long. You will also find a selection of board games at the fireplace lounge in Haus Ferdinand, ensuring hours of entertainment. We regularly offer special family packages. Yes, our restaurant is also open to outside guests. Please reserve your table in advance online or by phone at +49 7541 959 360. Please note that dogs are not permitted and that smoking and vaping are not allowed in the restaurant or on the restaurant terrace.

Stamps are available for purchase at reception. We are happy to take your stamped mail to the mailbox for you.

We are happy to take your requests. You will find more information under "Laundry cleaning." On request, we will also provide an ironing board and iron in your room.

Our underground car park offers charging facilities for a total of four electric cars, available to our guests. Unfortunately, the charging stations cannot be reserved in advance.

Through our underground car park you have access to our locked bicycle cellar, where you are welcome to store your bicycle during your stay. Charging facilities for e-bikes are available there as well. There are also options to park and lock your bicycles above ground.

In your room you can receive television and radio programs in various languages.

In the event of a fire, please refer to the escape route plan on the inside of your room door, which shows the nearest emergency exit. For your own safety, please do not use the elevators in case of fire. Leave your room immediately and stay calm. If you discover a fire, please press a fire alarm button in a public area or call reception at extension "150" from a safe location. If the escape route is blocked by smoke, please stay in your room and close the door. Draw attention to yourself by either calling reception or signaling from the window.

Have you lost or found something? Our reception staff will be glad to help you. If you leave something behind at departure, we will of course keep the item for you or, at your express request and expense, send it to you. For reasons of discretion, items are not sent automatically.

Did you forget something at home? We are happy to help and keep a selection of guest articles available for you.

You will find a Kreissparkasse and a Volksbank branch in the village on Zeppelinstraße, about 400 meters from the hotel.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and restaurant. You will receive your personal password at reception.

Our hotel rooms are not equipped with air conditioning, but with a centralized, sustainable cooling system that cools the room through the floor, complemented by state-of-the-art supply and exhaust air technology.

The hotel does not have bicycles available for guests to rent. We would be glad to provide you with an overview of bicycle rental options in the immediate area at reception.

The "Fischbach West" bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel entrance, just a two-minute walk away. The Seelinie 7395 connects Friedrichshafen, Meersburg, and Überlingen and stops regularly at Fischbach West. You can find exact departure times at reception.

You are welcome to park your vehicle on our grounds or in the underground car park. Please note that parking is subject to a charge. The hourly rate is 1 euro. Please remember not to leave any valuables in your car. The hotel is not liable for the loss of valuables or damage to your vehicle.

All areas of our house are non-smoking. In case of non-compliance, we charge €150.00 for special cleaning.

Do you fall ill before your trip, or does a family emergency prevent you from traveling? With our partner ERGO Reiseversicherung AG, we offer you comprehensive protection.

Each of our rooms is equipped with a safe. Please follow the instructions on the safe door. The hotel assumes no liability for valuables.

Your key card opens your room door, the hotel entrance door, and the sauna area. Please return your key card at reception upon departure. In case of loss or damage, we reserve the right to charge you a deposit of €5.00.

Our reception staff will be glad to arrange your transfer.

Enjoy your favorite wine at home as well. On the day of your departure, you can purchase the wines from our wine list at a 20% discount off the listed retail price. Our restaurant manager will be glad to assist you.

Our baby changing room is located in the wheelchair-accessible restroom on the first basement level of Haus Helene.

All items in the room are the property of the hotel. Any items taken will be charged to your room bill.

Our reception is staffed from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm. After 10:30 pm the hotel entrance is closed. Please take your key card with you when leaving the house. A card reader is located in front of the barrier at the hotel entrance and at the entrance door of every house, allowing you to enter the hotel at night with your key card only.
